Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia Concert Series

FMMC musicians return to the JCCNV to present a concert of musical masterworks with a Jewish connection. The program includes a rarely-heard piano sonata by Felix Mendelssohn; a lovely suite for clarinet, violin, and piano by Jewish French composer Darius Milhaud; and a collection of songs with Jewish themes.

Program:
• FELIX MENDELSSON: Sonata in E major, Op. 6. Steven Schwarz, piano.
• DARIUS MILHAUD: Suite for clarinet, violin, and piano. Albert Hunt, clarinet; Shearom Chung, violin; and Nikola Paskalov, piano.
• Selected songs on traditional Hebrew and Ladino texts. Leslie Luxemburg, soprano; Albert Hunt, clarinet; and Ben Altman, guitar.
