Student Auditions

Michael Casassa, Auditions Chair

Marta Howard , Assistant Auditions Chair

FMMC now uses a single set of audition requirements that are applicable to Performance Membership candidates of any age. A formal recommendation from a teacher is not required for audition, but students should confer with their teacher before applying to ensure they understand the level of preparation required.

Auditions for solo and chamber singers and instrumentalists (including duo piano and piano accompanist) are scheduled in October and March each year. Auditions for Orchestra string player, Chorale singer, and composer are scheduled upon request. For audition dates, repertoire and other requirements for FMMC’s various audition categories, and audition application forms, see our Auditions page.

For more information, please contact the Student Activities Chair at studentactivities@fmmc.org.

See our How to Join page, and download a membership form available in PDF format.
