Membership in the Friday Morning Music Club is open to all—music lovers, active and retired music professionals, amateur musicians, students, and individual and organizational friends of music. The FMMC is run, and its concerts presented, entirely by member volunteers. We rely on our members to take on the many tasks that make our concerts and other activities possible. Members pay modest dues to support the Club's activities.

There are three categories of membership in the Friday Morning Music Club:

  • Individual (encompassing both Associate and Performance members)
  • Student
  • Organizational

All members receive the Club’s monthly newsletter and a yearbook that includes an event calendar and membership directory. Members also can choose to join a Club listserve.

Musician members who have successfully auditioned to become Performance Members are eligible to perform in our public concerts. (For more about performance membership, please visit our Auditions page.) Other musician members, termed Associates, may participate in our Outreach program of performances for seniors and in master classes and at-home musical activities. Student members may appear in our student recital series (see our Student Activities page). Organizational members support us through dues and in-kind contributions, and in other ways.

Membership Dues

Member dues are a key source of support for our free concerts. The membership year is from July 1 to June 30. Annual individual membership dues are $85. Reduced dues are available for seniors (70 or above), students, junior members (age 23–30), out-of-town members, multiple adult members from the same family at the same address, and those who join late in the membership year. For details, see our membership form.

Applying for Membership

To apply for individual, student, or organizational membership, please fill out our membership form and mail it to the FMMC Administrative Assistant at the address printed on the form, along with your check for dues.
