INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

The information below is for regular membership. Information on other membership categories is available by clicking here.

Performance audition dates will be posted on FMMC's announcement page when information is known.

Membership in the Friday Morning Music Club is open to all - music lovers, music professionals, retired music professionals, friends of music. Initially, most join as Associate members and some subsequently audition for the privilege of performance membership. Occasionally the audition comes first and a person joins as a Performance Member directly. Auditions are held several times a year in the following categories: solo instrument or voice; chamber instrument; orchestra; choral singing; accompanist. Composers and conductors, upon presentation of credentials, are examined by a committee of their peers. Performers on the Club's recital and concert programs are drawn exclusively from the roster of Performance Members.

The membership year is from July 1 to June 30. Special, reduced dues are available for seniors (70 or above), students, junior members (age 30 and under), out-of-town members, and the second adult member from the same family at the same address.

You may receive membership information and an application either by telephoning (202) 333-2075 and selecting Membership from the voice mail menu or by writing to the club at its business office, 2233 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W., Suite 326, Washington, D.C. 20007-4126.
